Job Duties:
- Lead and manage tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates within the Family, Executive, & Entrepreneur Advisory Services (FEAS) group.
- Serve as primary liaison between clients, staff, and firm leadership, ensuring high-quality client service and communication with attorneys and other third parties.
- Apply expert-level knowledge of the U.S. Tax Code and multi-state tax compliance to oversee tax planning and compliance engagements.
- Supervise and mentor tax accountants and senior accountants, providing regular feedback and contributing to professional development.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities by nurturing external relationships and converting leads into new clients.
- Participate in firm initiatives to promote a positive, team-oriented work environment and contribute to process improvements.
Key Qualifications:
- Active CPA license required; CFP® is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax consulting, including experience with high-net-worth individual tax planning.
- Strong technical expertise in individual, trust, and estate taxation with the ability to manage complex compliance and planning engagements.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, including experience with supervising and training team members.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
