Key Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review and approve payroll transactions, adjustments, and disbursements while resolving any discrepancies.
- Process Payroll for over 1k employees
- Maintain payroll systems, implement upgrades, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Prepare and file all payroll tax reports, coordinate with auditors, and ensure legal compliance.
- Collaborate closely with HR and Finance to align payroll with benefits, deductions, and accurate reporting.
- Lead payroll-related projects and continuous process improvements while staying current on industry trends.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong expertise in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field preferred; high school diploma required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
