Our client in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant for a hybrid role focused on financial reporting, process improvement, and a high-profile ERP implementation project through year-end.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys process improvement, financial analysis, and complex accounting work.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities and general ledger accounting
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and variance analyses
- Support financial reporting and ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Assist with ERP implementation and accounting process improvements
- Analyze financial data and provide operational insights
- Collaborate with finance and business teams on reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and close cycle experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience working within ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred
- Investment accounting experience
- Lease accounting experience
- Prior ERP implementation or conversion experience
