Our client in the DFW area is seeking a Lead Accountant to join their Accounting Department!
The Lead Accountant will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while ensuring deadlines are met
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and GLs to ensure accuracy
- Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, Treasury, and payroll support
- Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis for monthly-close outs
- Support process improvements and ad-hoc projects while partnering with other departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
