Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Type: Full Time – Contract with potential long-term
Pay: $22.00 – 26.00/hour, depending on experience
Our client is looking for a strong Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist here Oklahoma City. The position will start off as temporary/contract, but there could be a possibility of permanent conversion. It will be a Monday-Friday work schedule.
Job Description and Duties
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately
- Apply customer payments and maintain up-to-date A/R records
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding payments and account status
- Assist with the month-end A/R close and reporting
- Collaborate with accounting and sales teams to ensure data accuracy
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency with MS Office and Excel, QuickBooks, and similar accounting software
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business preferred, or equivalent work experience
