Job: Accountant

Pay Range: $50,000 – 60,000, depending on experience and performance
Position Overview
Our Beacon Hill OKC Finance Team is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support one of our clients’ tight-knit accounting teams in the Oklahoma City metro area.
The candidate is responsible for recording and reconciling royalty and revenue payments, preparing monthly reports, and supporting the accounting team with audits and other financial activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and contributing to a small, high-performing team.
This is a full-time, on-site role with a standard Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. schedule. Occasional additional hours may be required during month-end closings or peak periods (e.g., tax season) to meet business and reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record revenue and payment details from multiple sources
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and revenue reports
- Assist with verification and review of revenue activities
- Support the accounting team with audits, tax work, and financial reporting
- Contribute to process improvements and team objectives
Requirements/Qualifications:
- A Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong computer proficiency
- Experience in the energy or oil & gas industry is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Pending employment is contingent upon meeting the company’s compliance and pre-screening requirements
