We’re currently hiring an Accounting Clerk on a contract basis for one of our clients. They’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling day-to-day accounting tasks in a structured environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and contributing to a team that relies on accuracy and consistency. The role focuses on supporting core accounting functions and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and account balances
- Enter and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
- Prepare reports and assist with general accounting tasks as needed
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment questions
- Provide additional administrative support when necessary
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
