Tax Accountant – Norwell, MA
Our client, a professional services organization in the accounting space, is seeking a Tax Accountant to assist with core tax and accounting functions during a high-volume period. This role focuses on supporting tax preparation efforts while maintaining accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax filings in accordance with applicable guidelines
- Support general accounting functions and maintain organized financial records
- Perform routine bookkeeping tasks and reconcile financial data for client accounts
- Assist with managing financial information using accounting software systems
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in tax preparation within a public accounting or similar environment
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Familiarity with corporate and partnership tax filings (e.g., Forms 1120 and 1065) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
