Accounts Payable Manager – Windsor, CT
Our client, a growing organization within the professional services sector, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role focuses on overseeing accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and maintaining efficient workflow within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounts payable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Supervise and support AP staff while maintaining efficient departmental operations
- Review and reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with standard accounting practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support purchasing and payment workflows
- Assist with reporting and documentation related to accounts payable activities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including leadership or management responsibility
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems required
- Strong understanding of AP processes and financial operations
- Procurement or purchasing experience preferred but not required
