Controller – Hybrid / Taunton, MA
Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in consumer goods, is seeking a Controller to oversee core accounting operations and financial reporting. This role supports operational performance by ensuring accurate financial data, strengthening controls, and partnering cross-functionally on cost management and planning activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general accounting functions, including month-end close and financial reporting
- Manage cost accounting processes across manufacturing and supply chain activities
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Partner with operations and finance teams to monitor costs and support business decisions
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or consumer products environments
- ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
- CPA or similar certification preferred
