Accounting Administrative Assistant – Onsite / Mansfield, MA
Our client, a well‑established organization in the retail and consumer services industry, is seeking an Accounting Administrative Assistant to support day‑to‑day accounts payable and administrative operations. This role combines transactional accounting support with front‑desk and general office responsibilities in a fully onsite environment.
Responsibilities
- Enter and process vendor invoices within the accounting system, ensuring accurate coding and documentation
- Review invoice details and assist with resolving discrepancies or missing information
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records related to accounts payable activity
- Support vendor inquiries and assist with basic account reconciliations
- Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team as needed
- Manage incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
- Greet visitors and maintain a professional front‑desk presence
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting support, or administrative roles
- Experience with invoice processing or data entry systems
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems preferred
