Surplus Lines Payable Analyst
Our client, a national insurance and risk management organization, is seeking a Surplus Lines Payable Analyst to support their accounting and compliance operations. This role focuses on processing surplus lines filings and payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting for state requirements.
Responsibilities:
- File and report policy information to state websites and maintain accurate records.
- Process tax returns and payments based on filing schedules.
- Reconcile accounts payable reports and ensure policies are properly accounted for.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding documentation, billing, and filing requirements.
- Support surplus lines licensing and other compliance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in insurance accounting, billing, or surplus lines filings.
