Controller (Part Time) – Bedford, MA (Hybrid Onsite Every Other Week)
Our client, an organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Part Time Controller to help strengthen their financial operations and internal controls during a period of growth. This is a part-time contract role (12-20 hours/week) expected to run 6-12 months, with some onsite presence required twice a month.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare for audits and work closely with external auditors
- Improve general ledger accuracy and financial reporting processes
- Support system improvements and financial infrastructure development
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Background in public accounting and/or public company environments preferred
- Experience working in manufacturing or product-based industries preferred
- CPA preferred
