Cost Accountant – Local to Boston, MA
Our client, a growing company in the life sciences industry, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role will focus on supporting inventory and manufacturing-related accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. The position is fully remote and will collaborate with teams across finance, operations, and supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliations and support journal entries for inventory and manufacturing activities
- Assist with product costing, cost analysis, and variance reporting
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accurate cost tracking
- Support reporting requirements and compliance with accounting policies and controls
- Help maintain ERP system records for inventory and costing activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or manufacturing finance
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or similar preferred)
