Vendor Management Specialist – Remote (Local to MA)
Our client, a mission-driven organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking a Vendor Management Specialist for a 6-month contract to support their contracts and procurement operations. This fully remote role will assist with end-to-end vendor management activities, including contract drafting, approvals, purchase orders, and system updates. This position will also provide support during a contracts system migration and work closely with finance and legal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, route, and track contracts, amendments, and related documentation
- Coordinate approvals and signatures with internal teams and external vendors
- Maintain vendor files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policy
- Create purchase orders and ensure accurate financial coding
- Update and track vendor data in systems such as Bill.com and Excel
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflow efficiency
- Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests within the contracts and procurement team
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or contracts administration
- Experience with CLM systems or contract migration projects a plus
- Paralegal or legal department experience preferred but not required
