Billing Specialist – Onsite (Braintree, MA)
Our client, a growing organization in the healthcare services industry, is seeking a Billing Specialist to support day-to-day billing operations. This is a fully onsite role (Monday-Friday, or Monday-Thursday if preferred) and offers a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to extend indefinitely. This position plays a key role in ensuring billing accuracy, claim submission, and payment reconciliation across multiple insurance payers.
Responsibilities:
- Process and submit billing claims to insurance payers
- Review claims for accuracy and completeness prior to submission
- Follow up on denied or delayed claims and resubmit as needed
- Reconcile payments and resolve billing discrepancies
- Communicate with internal teams and external payers to ensure proper claim processing
- Analyze billing data to identify and implement process improvements
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of billing or revenue cycle experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience in healthcare or insurance billing a plus
