Senior Accountant – Portland, ME (Hybrid)
Our client, a well-established organization in the professional services industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide hands-on support with core accounting operations and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accurate month-end closings
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other recurring transactions
- Support the preparation of the cash flow statement and related financial reports
- Review income statements and balance sheets for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with the annual audit process and preparation of supporting schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- ERP system experience preferred
