Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Associate Director – Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Our client, a global leader in the life sciences sector, is seeking a Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting professional to support their accounting and reporting team during a six-month leave coverage. This role will focus on technical accounting research, quarterly reporting activities, and collaboration across finance teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Research and document accounting positions for complex transactions and new standards
- Prepare accounting memos and support quarterly and annual reporting activities
- Partner with FP&A and other teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Monitor and implement new accounting and reporting guidance
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Develop and maintain company accounting policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience
- Advanced Excel and technical writing skills
