Buyer/Planner – Onsite in Farmington, CT
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Buyer/Planner to support procurement and planning activities for production operations. This role involves managing purchasing processes, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of components to meet operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve delays or shortages
- Assist with invoice discrepancies and act as liaison between internal teams and vendors
- Track inventory levels and recommend actions to meet department objectives
- Support special projects related to procurement and planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing or planning within a manufacturing environment
