AP/Payroll Specialist – Boston, MA
Our client, a fast-paced organization in the construction and professional services sector, is seeking an AP/Payroll Specialist to manage accounts payable and payroll operations. This role involves processing vendor invoices, handling payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate vendor records
- Prepare and reconcile payments and assist with month-end reporting
- Manage weekly and biweekly payroll cycles, including time entry and adjustments
- Maintain payroll records and respond to employee inquiries
- Generate standard reports for management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll
- Proficiency with Sage and Paychex (required)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred)
