Individual Tax Preparer – Beverly, MA
A well-established professional services firm is seeking a seasonal Tax Preparer to assist with individual income tax filings during the busy tax season. This role involves preparing accurate federal and state returns and supporting clients with documentation and inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Review and organize supporting documentation and workpapers
- Communicate with clients to gather additional information as needed
- Utilize tax preparation software and maintain accurate digital records
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience preparing individual tax returns
- Familiarity with tax preparation software (experience with CCH or similar platforms preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- CPA or Enrolled Agent designation a plus
