Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Hybrid / Boston, MA
Our client, a healthcare-focused organization, is seeking a Senior Manager of FP&A to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting for research and development teams. This role partners closely with operational leaders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure accurate financial tracking.
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and spend analysis
- Track and manage vendor commitments, invoices, and financial controls
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses
- Support scenario modeling and ad hoc financial analysis
- Identify and support improvements to financial processes and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of FP&A or finance experience within life sciences, biotech, or pharma
- Experience with financial planning tools (Adaptive Insights preferred) and ERP systems
