Senior Tax Accountant – Hybrid / Boston, MA
Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to support core tax and general ledger activities within a collaborative finance team. This role focuses on preparing tax-related schedules, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting regulatory and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain tax-related schedules for various compliance and reporting needs
- Support processing of tax withholdings, credits, and related accounting entries
- Perform reconciliations of tax-related general ledger accounts
- Assist with indirect tax filings and related reporting activities
- Prepare journal entries and support routine accounting close activities
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and internal reviews
- Assist with regulatory reporting and responses to external inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting with exposure to tax
