Senior Accountant – Hybrid / Gloucester, MA
Our client, a growing technology-focused organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting and financial reporting functions during a period of continued growth. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close processes, and assisting with compliance and reporting activities across the business. The position works closely with finance leadership and supports ongoing process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and assist with consolidated financial reporting
- Perform revenue-related accounting activities in accordance with established standards
- Prepare routine financial reports and analyses for internal stakeholders
- Assist with audit support and respond to accounting-related inquiries
- Participate in process improvements and system-related initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- Experience with revenue recognition
- NetSuite experience preferred
- SaaS or technology industry experience a plus
