Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper – Georgetown, MA
Our client, a growing organization within the construction and professional services industry, is seeking an Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This role focuses on transactional accounting, record maintenance, and assisting with close and reporting activities in a fast‑paced, onsite environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Enter and reconcile invoices, payments, deposits, and journal entries
  • Support month‑end close and general ledger maintenance
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Assist with pricing, sales, and margin tracking
  • Provide general accounting support to the accounting manager

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong QuickBooks experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
