Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper – Georgetown, MA
Our client, a growing organization within the construction and professional services industry, is seeking an Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This role focuses on transactional accounting, record maintenance, and assisting with close and reporting activities in a fast‑paced, onsite environment.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Enter and reconcile invoices, payments, deposits, and journal entries
- Support month‑end close and general ledger maintenance
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Assist with pricing, sales, and margin tracking
- Provide general accounting support to the accounting manager
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong QuickBooks experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
