Accounting Consultant – Hybrid / Watertown, MA
Our client, a biotech organization, is seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to provide short-term support across core accounting and financial operations. This role focuses on stabilizing close processes, reviewing financial activity, and strengthening controls in a complex environment with inventory-related accounting.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities and provide senior-level accounting oversight
- Review balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy and consistency
- Assist with account reconciliations and identification of cleanup needs
- Support inventory-related accounting processes and reporting
- Partner with finance and operations teams to resolve accounting questions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations required
- CPA preferred
