Financial Reporting Analyst – Hybrid / Boston, MA
Our client, a large nonprofit organization, is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. This role partners closely with finance leadership and internal stakeholders to analyze financial data, reconcile systems, and support reporting and planning initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support budget planning and financial reporting activities across multiple departments
- Reconcile financial and position data across human resources, budgeting, and financial systems
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, metrics, and analysis for leadership review
- Maintain and update forecasting and financial planning models
- Analyze budget-to-actual results and identify trends, variances, and data discrepancies
- Assist with annual and periodic budget development, review, and confirmation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or budgeting
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Office Suite experience
- ERP system experience preferred (SAP a plus)
