Controller – Hybrid / Waltham, MA
Our client, a global professional services organization, is seeking a senior-level accounting leader to support core financial operations and oversee key accounting processes across multiple regions. This role focuses on managing close activities, providing technical accounting guidance, and partnering with cross-functional finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and strong operational controls.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support end-to-end accounting close activities across assigned entities
- Provide guidance on complex or non-routine accounting matters and ensure consistent application of accounting standards
- Partner with internal finance teams to resolve operational issues and improve process alignment
- Review and support complex accounting calculations and journal entries
- Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and supported for audit and statutory requirements
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to drive process improvements and shared service objectives
- Support statutory reporting, audit coordination, and financial statement preparation activities
- Serve as a key point of contact for finance leadership and related business partners
Qualifications
- 11+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA required; IFRS experience strongly preferred
