Fixed Asset Accountant – Hybrid / Boston, MA
Our client, a large organization, is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, asset accounting activities, and ongoing system-related initiatives. This role will assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, data analysis, audit support, and process improvements while partnering with internal stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
- Maintain fixed asset records and process asset-related accounting transactions.
- Prepare account reconciliations and support financial reporting activities.
- Analyze accounting data and investigate variances or discrepancies.
- Assist with capital project and asset tracking activities.
- Support system implementations, data validation, and testing efforts.
- Contribute to month-end close activities and other general accounting responsibilities.
- Assist with process improvements and ongoing accounting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of fixed asset accounting experience and 5+ years of general accounting experience.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft preferred but not required.
