Production Buyer – Hybrid / Chelmsford, MA
Our client, a manufacturing and technology company, is seeking a Production Buyer to support purchasing, inventory planning, and supplier coordination. This role will help ensure materials are available to meet production requirements while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders and material planning activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and support supply availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers on deliveries, schedule changes, and order follow-up.
- Track and resolve material shortages and procurement issues.
- Maintain purchasing records and support reporting efforts.
- Partner with internal teams to support production goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of buyer or purchasing experience.
- Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, or similar Oracle ERP experience required.
- Experience with MRP, inventory management, and supplier management preferred.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
