Interim Chief Operating Officer – Hybrid / Cambridge, MA
Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an Interim Chief Operating Officer to provide leadership across finance, operations, administration, and organizational initiatives. This role will partner with executive leadership to support business operations, financial management, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial, operational, and administrative functions.
- Support budgeting, financial reporting, and organizational planning.
- Provide leadership on business processes, risk management, and compliance activities.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
- Manage cross-functional projects and support organizational change efforts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective operations.
Qualifications
- Extensive senior leadership experience in the nonprofit sector.
- Experience overseeing finance and operational functions required.
- MBA, CPA, or similar advanced credentials preferred.
- Experience with nonprofit financial systems preferred.
