Our client is looking for a talented software engineer that has deep experience with J2EE development. They need someone that is able to be an individual contributor but largely responsible for managing a team of offshore engineers to accomplish their goals. They will be working with Java code, performing code reviews and push it out to production. They will work heavily with offshore delivery teams and other vendors and manage their code. They will need to have a strong background with Spring/Spring Boot and working with databases and work through the entire SDLC process using agile methodology to develop software applications.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of development experience in designing and developing applications for an enterprise organization.
- 3+ years of developing with J2EE with at least 5+ years of overall development
- Experience managing or being a senior resource to manage offshore teams is required
- Experience with modern frameworks including Spring is a requirement
- Experience developing code with Microservices is a requirement.
- 3+ years of experience working with relational databases and stored procedure designs
Desired Skills:
Leadership with offshore on shore teams (particularly offshore)
Experience with NoSQL Databases
SpringBoot would be preferred, not required.
React is currently their front end and experience that is a plus.
Containerization experience is a plus with GitOps, Kubernetes and Jenkins.
