Senior Accounting Manager – Boston, MA / Hybrid
Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee key accounting operations and support the month-end and quarter-end close processes. This individual will play a leadership role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, improving accounting procedures, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage core accounting activities and close-related processes
- Oversee general ledger accounting and financial reporting functions
- Review reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Support process improvement initiatives and internal controls
- Partner with finance and operational stakeholders on accounting matters
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff as needed
- Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and special projects
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry required
- Experience using NetSuite required
