Controller – Fall River, MA
Our client, a well-established organization within the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting operations and support the financial management of the business. This role will lead a small accounting team, oversee financial reporting processes, and partner with leadership to support business planning and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting and financial operations.
- Lead and support a small accounting team.
- Prepare and review financial reports and analysis for management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Coordinate external financial, audit, and compliance-related processes.
- Monitor internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
