Beacon Hill Financial is recruiting for a Staff Accountant for our client in the Sunset Hills area. This role will be a 9+ month contract posiiton with possibility of hire/extension. The role is paying between $28 – $34/hr depending on experience. Accounting experience in construction, engineering, or architectural industies is preferred.

Duties
- Prepare journal entries and other analysis to close books at month/year end
- Reconcile general ledger balance sheet accounts, including cash.
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Finance Manager’s attention.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as directed.
Qualifications and Duties
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience, have a competent understanding of accounting basics.
- 3+ years of increasing accounting responsibility experience.
