Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a Contract to Hire Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client in the Washington, MO Area. This role is 100% onsite and offers pay ranging from $29-$32 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties:
- Manage full-charge bookkeeping responsibilities for a portfolio of businesses, including vacation rentals, restaurants, event spaces, and retail boutiques.
- Handle all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general administrative accounting functions.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and customized financial reports for ownership and management review.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, journal entries, and accruals.
- Monitor cash flow, account balances, and financial activity to support business operations and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Assist with annual budgeting and financial forecasting in partnership with ownership.
- Collaborate closely with an external CPA firm on financial reporting, tax matters, and accounting best practices.
- Coordinate annual audits, financial reviews, and tax filings with external auditors and accounting partners.
- Support compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and industry regulations.
