Beacon Hill Financial is looking for a contract to hire Accountant for our client located in the St. Louis county area. The role is paying between $28-$32/hr and is 100% onsite. Responsibilities:
- Invoicing & Progress Billing: Prepare, review, and submit monthly progress billings, AIA-style invoices, and T&M (Time & Materials) invoices.
- Job Cost Tracking: Reconcile project costs, including subcontractor invoices, material costs, and labor, to ensure accurate billing.
- Change Order Management: Update and track change orders to ensure all approved modifications are billed.
- Accounts Receivable & Collections: Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up on unpaid invoices, and manage A/R aging reports.
- Documentation & Compliance: Process lien waivers, maintain client contracts, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers to review project progress and resolve billing discrepancies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Sage construction accounting software.
- Construction Knowledge: Understanding of AIA billing, percentage-of-completion method, and lien waivers.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and contract review.
