Senior Benefits Analyst
Location: Hybrid in Boston (onsite 3 days/week)
A law firm client in Boston is looking to hire a Senior Benefits Analyst. As a member of the HR team, this person will be responsible for administering leaves of absence & supporting employee benefit enrollment. With a strong customer service focus, this role will be responsible for working collaboratively with all levels of staff and a wide variety of teams, as well as external vendors.
Some responsibilities include:
- Administer and monitor a wide variety of leaves of absence cases
- Support the administration of all health and welfare benefit plans
- Coordinate annual benefits fair as well as open enrollment communications and initiatives
- Responsible for managing and resolving employee inquiries on benefit eligibility and claim issues, escalating as needed
- Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, and Finance teams to create efficient benefits processes
Qualifications:
- 5+ years employee benefits-related experience with a focus on leave administration
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, ERISA, and other state and federal requirements
- Well versed in HR practices and principles
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
