Contract Leaves of Absence Specialist
Location: Remote
Our client in the tech space is looking to hire a Contract Leaves of Absence (LOA) Specialist for 4 months to help with an uptick in leave requests. As a member of the larger benefits team, this role will be responsible for:
- Administering LOA requests and related reporting
- Serving as a primary resource to employees, HR team members, managers, and vendors on all leave policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the Payroll team on leave and disability benefit payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Utlizing the HRIS to track leave and accomodation documentation
Requirements:
- 2+ years of LOA administration and case management experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state leave of absence laws (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, etc.)
- Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
- Experience providing top-notch support to employees throughout the leave process
- Strong attention to detail
