Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting
Location: Hybrid in Boston (onsite 2+ days/week)
A highly successful law firm in Boston is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting to lead their legal practitioner hiring process from beginning to end, including managing their summer program. This is a highly collaborative role, and the ideal candidate will have significant law firm recruiting experience.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with key team members, drive long-term recruiting plans that address hiring targets and pipeline gaps. This will include strengthening relationships with law school career service professionals, student groups, professional organizations, and exploring more unique hiring channels
- Own the entire legal practitioner and summer associate/intern hiring process, from kick-off meetings to offer extension and onboarding
- Manage the firm’s summer program including onboarding, work assignments, evaluations, and social events for associates, interns & staff
- Analyze legal recruitment data, programming feedback, and market research on hiring trends with an eye towards improving hiring processes and programming
Requirements:
- 6+ years of legal recruiting experience
- Extensive knowledge of the legal recruitment process for roles at various levels
- Experience partnering with stakeholders in the recruiting process both internally and externally
- Experience managing a firm’s summer program preferred
- Prior management experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional time and project management skills with a proven track record of success in a deadline-driven environment
