Benefits Analyst
Location: Hybrid in Boston (onsite 3-4 days/week)
A client in the professional services space in Boston is looking to hire a Benefits Analyst. As a member of the HR team, this person will be responsible for administering leaves of absence (LOAs) & supporting employee benefit enrollment. With a strong customer service focus, this role will be responsible for working collaboratively with all levels of staff as well as external vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor a wide variety of leaves of absence and disability programs in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
- Counsel employees and managers on leave policies & procedures
- Responsible for managing and resolving employee inquiries on benefit eligibility and claim issues, escalating as needed
- Support the administration of all health and welfare benefit plans
- Support open enrollment planning, communications, and execution
- Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, & HR team members to create efficient benefits processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of multi-state LOA experience
- Working knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, ERISA, and other state and federal requirements
- Strong Excel skills required
