HR Generalist
Location: Hybrid in Boston (4 days/week onsite)
Our client, an established, Boston-based law firm, is looking to hire an HR Generalist to join their HR team to support benefits administration, payroll, HRIS, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefit programs (health, dental, life, short and long-term disability, workers comp, 401(k), and more)
- Manage all leave of absences for the firm, including STD, LTD, Parental, PFML and FMLA in collaboration with third-party administrators
- Process bi-weekly payroll and semi-monthly payroll in ADP & generate related reports
- Support additional aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, HRIS maintenance and reporting, and employee relations
- Organize and lead new hire onboarding and orientation
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits and payroll administration
- Prior experience working for a law firm strongly preferred
- Strong HRIS experience (ADP preferred)
- Experience supporting a blended exempt and non-exempt population
- Strong organizational skills, and professional communication skills
- Sound judgment, especially with confidential information
