HR Director
Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (onsite 3+ days/week)
A nonprofit client in Boston, MA, is looking to hire an HR Director who can take on a blended strategic & hands-on role leading the function and managing their HR team. They are seeking a candidate with well-rounded experience in HR, including significant experience with HR policies & procedures, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, learning & development, recruiting and more.
Some responsibilities include:
- Review, create, and implement HR policies & procedures
- Oversee HR operations and talent acquisition strategy organization-wide
- Provide coaching to managers around employee relations issues and investigations as needed
- Assess current training offerings to ensure employees are equipped with the tools needed to be successful
- Oversee learning & development offerings with a focus on employee growth
- Establish strong relationships with leadership, managers, and partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of progressive and well-rounded HR experience
- Significant experience managing a team
- Passionate about working in a mission-driven environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
