Director of Talent Acquisition
Location: Hybrid in Lexington, MA (onsite 2-3 days/week)
Our client, a biotech in Lexington, MA, is looking to hire a Director of TA to lead their recruiting efforts. This is a blended hands-on & strategic role, and the ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including direct experience leading TA in a commercial biotech/pharma organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals, partnering with leadership to understand workforce needs and deliver data-driven, market-informed hiring plans.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle (from sourcing to offer) ensuring efficient processes, strong hiring outcomes, and a seamless, inclusive candidate experience.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the TA team while building strong partnerships with hiring managers, external agencies, and cross-functional teams to support hiring goals and employer brand initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement through technology optimization, performance metrics, and process enhancements, while managing budgets and ensuring compliance with all hiring laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience in biotech/pharma
- Direct experience leading TA in a commercial or post-commercial biotech/pharma organization
- Global experience preferred
- Strong people management experience
