Head of Talent Acquisition
Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (onsite 3 days/week)
A global pharmaceutical company in Boston, MA, is looking to hire a Head of TA to lead their strategic recruiting efforts. This role will involve building out the function, elevating capabilities, and leading team strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in TA, including direct experience leading recruiting during a commercial build.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and execute TA strategy that supports business growth, workforce readiness, and long-term organizational objectives
- Build and manage a high-performing TA team, establishing scalable processes, data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement
- Serve as an advisor to senior leadership, providing talent market intelligence, workforce insights, and analytics while leading executive hiring strategies and critical leadership searches
- Drive full-cycle recruitment for executive, specialized, and business-critical roles, leveraging innovative sourcing, talent mapping, workforce planning, and strong external talent pipelines to attract top talent
- Champion strategic recruiting initiatives across employer brand, early-career talent, DE&I, workforce solutions, and regulatory compliance to strengthen talent pipelines and enhance the hiring experience
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, preferably in a large, complex organization
- 6+ years of experience leading and managing a growing TA team
- Direct experience leading TA for a commercial build
- Global experience preferred
