Manager, Total Rewards
Location: Onsite 5 days/week in Boston, MA
A technology client in Boston, MA, is looking to hire a Manager, Total Rewards, to lead their benefits and compensation programming. This role will ensure the programs run effectively & remain competitive in the market, while also maintaining compliance with applicable laws & regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the strategy and administration of compensation, benefits, leave, and accommodation programs to ensure an engaging employee experience and competitive market positioning.
- Maintain compliance across total rewards and employee programs by overseeing adherence to federal and state employment, benefits, pay equity, and leave regulations.
- Utilize market intelligence, benchmarking data, analytics, and emerging technologies to inform compensation structures, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers on benefits, compensation, leave, and workplace accommodations.
- Partner with business leaders, HR teams, brokers, and external advisors to design, evaluate, and enhance reward programs that align with organizational objectives and workforce needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of total rewards experience
- Strong knowledge of benefits & leaves compliance, audits, and reporting
- Experience managing direct reports, delegating, coaching performance & ensuring team deadlines are met
