Our client, a leading media and entertainment organization, is seeking an HR Senior Manager to join its team in New York City. This is a highly hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle across recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, HR operations, and compliance within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR leader who is comfortable balancing strategic partnership with day-to-day execution, has strong experience recruiting revenue-generating talent, and thrives working closely with leadership, employees, payroll, and finance teams. - Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources required.
- Experience within media, entertainment, advertising, professional services, or similarly fast-paced environments preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience across HR operations, employee relations, recruiting, and compliance required.
- Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for both sales and corporate positions, including sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Experience utilizing Greenhouse ATS and ADP HRIS/payroll systems strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to advise managers on performance management, employee relations issues, coaching conversations, and workplace investigations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable operating in a highly collaborative, visible HR role with regular interaction across all levels of the organization.
- Professional, warm, and confident communication style with the ability to build trust while appropriately pushing back when needed.
- Ability to work onsite in NYC four days per week (Monday-Thursday) required.
The base salary for this role is $120,000-$130,000 per year.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
