Our client, a media and advertising organization based in New York City, is seeking an HR Director to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a highly visible, hands-on leadership role within a collaborative, people-first environment that values stability and long-term growth. In this role, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on employee relations, recruiting, and benefits administration, while partnering closely with leadership to support a high-performing and engaged workforce. - Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6+ years of Human Resources experience, required.
- Strong background in hands-on recruiting, HR operations, and employee relations.
- Experience recruiting revenue-generating (sales) roles, preferred.
- Prior experience within media, advertising, or a similar fast-paced environment, preferred.
- Experience with HRIS (ADP) and ATS platforms (Greenhouse), preferred.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization and confidently provide thoughtful pushback when appropriate.
- Professional maturity, sound judgment, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable managing HR data, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Must be comfortable working in a highly in-office environment in New York City (4 days/week onsite).
The base salary for this role is $120,000 – $135,000.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
