Our client, an accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Director of Compensation & Benefits to join its People & Culture leadership team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned compensation leader to build and scale a compensation function within a fast-paced and highly collaborative professional services environment. The ideal candidate is a strong compensation SME with executive presence, experience driving compensation strategy within large multi-state organizations, and the ability to build credibility and influence across senior business leaders. - Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of progressive compensation and benefits experience required, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise designing and scaling compensation structures, salary planning, incentive programs, and total rewards strategies within large, multi-state organizations required.
- Experience partnering closely with executive leadership, HRBPs, Finance, Operations, and business leaders to deliver strategic compensation guidance.
- Strong leadership and people management experience required, including mentoring and developing compensation and benefits teams.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation benchmarking tools such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills required, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence required within a high-growth, evolving environment.
- Hybrid schedule requiring approximately 3 days per week onsite in the New York City office in Midtown Manhattan.
The base salary for this role is $190,000-$225,000.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
