Our client, a large law firm, is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join its growing Talent Acquisition team for a 6-12 month assignment with potential for extension or long-term conversion. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative and evolving organization that is continuing to build and modernize its recruiting infrastructure across both its legal services and global mobility business lines. The recruiter will partner closely with HR and business leadership to manage a diverse requisition load, build strong talent pipelines, and support full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization. This role is ideal for a proactive, relationship-driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both sourcing strategy and hands-on recruiting execution. - Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required, ideally within legal services, professional services, or corporate environments.
- Prior experience recruiting within a law firm, legal services environment, or supporting legal hiring strongly preferred; corporate legal recruiting experience will also be considered.
- Must have prior experience using Workday as an applicant tracking and recruiting platform.
- Strong sourcing and pipeline-building skills with the ability to proactively network and identify talent across multiple channels.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Professional, collaborative, and adaptable approach with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- Must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment with 2-3 days per week onsite in the New York City office.
The hourly pay for this role is $50-$72/hour.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
